About This Route

Die Route verläuft von Freiburg im Breisgau über Frankreich bis nach Santiago de Compostela. In Frankreich bin ich teils den Via Lemovicensis und teils auf der Landstraße gefahre.

In Spanien bin ich den Camino Frances größtenteils gefahren.

Sehenswert war in Frankreich die Gegend von Burgund und im Süden die Weingegend von Bordeaux. Besonders hat mir die Stadt Nevers mit der gotische Kathedrale Saint-Cry et Sainte-Julitte und der Herzogspalast gefallen. Auch die kleine Stadt Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in den Pyrenäen hat ihren ganz besonderen charm.

Auch Spaniens Städte und Landschaften hat ihre Reize. Z.b. Burgos, Leon, Astorga und natürlich Santiago de Compostela.
