About this route
The 1st section of the Calchabike presents a big difficulty in its first kilometers, from the start in Tafi del Valle in Tucumán to the Abra del Infiernillo. From there onwards we have a sharply descending stretch to Amaicha and finally a practically flat link that leads us to Santa MarĂa in the Province of Catamarca.
