Hohenahrerrunde

A cycling route starting in Giessen, Hesse, Germany.

Overview

About this route

The ride begins with a warm-up through the Lahn meadows. At Garbenheim, you turn off via the cycling path towards Waldgirmes. From there, it goes under Königstuhl towards Bieber, where you come to the first intersection towards Königsberg/Hohenahr. This is also the most uncomfortable (strenuous) part of the route. ;-)

Through Frankenbach, Krumbach, and Kirchvers, you continue towards Frohnhausen, from where you can roll back to Giessen comfortably along the country roads.

Conclusion: Not for beginners, not too strenuous for advanced riders, but still demanding in some sections.
