Von der Mühlbachquelle zur Loretokapelle

From 72189 Wittershausen, parking lot at the Turn- und Festhalle leads to Bochingerstraße, turn right into Eichenstraße towards Vöhringerstraße, then right over the roundabout to the sports complex. In the forest, take the first path on the right. This path is first flat, then steeply uphill to the Brenntenwald parking lot. Here continue about one hundred meters straight on a grassy track to the next gravel road. Now left, slightly downhill, then a short very steep section to the beautiful viewpoint on Brittheim. Then ride a bit parallel to the L 415, then on the paved lane turn left downhill. In the forest it's mostly flat and straight until Häselstraße, which you cross and continue slightly uphill straight ahead. Then steeply downhill to L 390, here left towards Heiligenzimmern, then right towards Binsdorf. At the start of the climb, right onto a flat field path, then left steeply uphill until you meet K 7122 again. (You can also climb more comfortably on K 7122.) Now right until past the sports grounds, where at the start of the climb a path leads downward into the forest. Follow this path until reaching the paved road leading to the chapel. Up to here you have to go back. Now follow the left road uphill towards Binsdorf. On K 7122 turn left to Müllergasse and then descend through the Weihertal valley past the Fischermühle to L 390. On this road turn right and take the first street on the left uphill until shortly before Rosenfeld a meadow path branches right. Follow this path to the edge of the forest. Then turn left into the forest until a path steeply climbs to Bickelsberg. On L 415 turn left and take Schlattbachstraße up to Brittheim. Past the water tower and sports field, then right down to Trichtingerstraße. Turn left here until Alte Poststraße branches off right. Follow it, pass Riedsee, cross L 415 and ride along the A 81 to the Stauden industrial area. Here you reach Sportplatzweg and cross the A 81 to the roundabout and the parking lot.
