About This Route

Highly Highly recommend this route as I had a blast and will definitely ride it again ..

The only tricky bit was crossing onto the Appleby Hwy so I decided to turn left instead of right, rode a little away from the T.junction and then crossed no problem .. And the only big hill is on the Coastal Highway between Mapua Dr & Gardner Valley Rd, but even then there is a nice wide lane to get off and walk it (I had to for the top half) ..

All up took 4.5hrs, including a 30min wait for ferry ..
