About This Route

The American Lung Association had a fundraising ride June 2-3, 1990. The plan was a 100-mile event ... from the Minnesota Zoo in Eagan to Red Wing on the first day, then camp overnight in a park on the Mississippi, then return the second day. A bad storm (with some tornadoes) struck on the first day, and high winds forced cancellation of the return leg. The ride was nonetheless fun, and made use of the very pretty Cannon Valley Trail for 19 miles of the route.
