Amx-Pinar-Campamento-Ponton-Amx

We leave Almorox via the Castillejos road towards the Pinar de Almorox residential area, entering the pine forest through the wastewater treatment plant gate. From there, we head toward the oak grove, and once we reach the fence, we take the firebreak path towards the watchtower; there is a brutal climb. Once at the oak grove entrance, we follow the firebreak path parallel to the oak grove fence, which leads us to the exit for crossing the M-507 and continuing uphill through the pine forest to the provincial boundary. From there, we descend to the telephone repeaters and take the old section of the 403 road heading towards Ávila; about 200 meters further, we cross the N-403 and take a path behind the old quarry to cross the pine forest and emerge right in front of Camp Alfonso XII. You then cross the M-507 road to head to the recreational area or Gamo ravine and from there emerge onto the drovers' road to head towards Tabalón and reach the Almorox-Cenicientos road. We cross it, continue 300 m along the drovers' road, and take the left path; the juniper trail that takes us to Ponton. We make the last climb and exit by the cemetery to the square.

This is a route notable for running mostly through the Pinar de Almorox, making it highly recommended to enjoy this magnificent natural setting.

There are some tough sections, but overall the route is not too difficult.
