About This Route

This loop, starting from Bernin, allows a warm up along the nationale, then a 700m climb up to St. Bernard du Touvet (9%). Before attacking the Col du Coq (HC), one has a 20 minute ride along the plateau. The Col du Coq is another 500m (9%) climb. The descent passes through a dark and often wet tunnel--I always change my sunglass lens to clear. I also stop halfway to let my brakes cool!
