La Cabrera-Cabanillas-Bustarvejo v2 31.12.12

I tried to go either to Guadalix or Miraflores, but in the end we took the route through Bustarviejo, as other times, in case it took longer. Total about 2:30 hours.

The turnoff to Guadalix is located after Cabanillas, at the gate entering the dehesa, km 10,200, and the turnoff to Miraflores is at km 15,500 when leaving Navalafuente.

It is a variant of the route of the same name where the crossing at La Cabrera is modified: you take a shortcut to the road, and at the end of the descent around Pico de la Miel, instead of taking the very steep climb to La Cabrera, you go to the other side of National Road I, making the climb gentler and done in one go, not in a rollercoaster fashion.
