Złotów-lasy k. Wąsosz-Złotów

We set off from Złotów from Wioślarska Street in front of the Zacisze hotel. If we arrived by car with our bikes, we can confidently leave our car here in the parking lot. We cross Partyzantów Street and the river over the bridge next to the Krajnia farmstead reserve. We ride along the promenade by the lake to its end and then along the bike path towards Blękwit. At the top of the hill, we turn left onto a field road and cross two railway viaducts. At the allotments, we turn left towards the visible wastewater treatment plant, and after passing it, we turn right onto a dirt road toward Wąsosz. Here, at the end of the asphalt, we turn right and drive along a forest road through the forest and alongside the meadows for about 1.5 km. When we reach the intersection, we turn left onto fire road no. 1, and at the next intersection, we again turn left onto the wide fire road no. 2. After traveling 1.2 km, we turn diagonally right and go through a beautiful, diverse forest until we get to the bridge (approx. 1.7 km). Here, the canal turns into a floodplain inhabited by many different birds. If we turn left after the bridge, we will soon arrive at the meadows, where with a bit of luck we may spot deer, wild boars, hawks, cranes, etc. On the other hand, if we go straight across the bridge, we will ride through the forest along the mentioned floodplain, which we will see between the trees. We will reach the next bridge on the Kocunia stream. Our further way does not go through this bridge, but we turn right and go straight across the embankment to the floodplain until we reach the wide fire road that we already traveled on. We cross it and turn onto the first road to the right, arriving at the ranger’s lodge. There we will see a curiosity, a mother tree of ancient fruit tree varieties with an information board. From the ranger's lodge, we go left and reach Wąsosz again, which we leave by the same path we came. After the first clump of trees, we turn left and reach a small forest through the field. After leaving it, about 100m before the farm, we turn left and then right onto the gravel road. Going straight, we will cross the railway viaducts again and reach the bike path along the Złotów - Piła road, which we will turn right towards Złotów. After the descent, we will turn left onto the asphalt promenade along the southern shore of Lake Miejskie. We will pass over another bridge on the Głomi River, pass the amphitheater, and reach the viewing platform near the enclosure for wild animals. The promenade will lead us back to Partyzantów Street (here we will see the entrance to Zwierzyniec Park and Hubert's monument), which we will turn right (another viewing platform over the wild boar enclosure), which will take us to Wioślarska Street (left turn), and from there we will return to Zacisze. Here at the restaurant, we can have lunch or drink coffee and head back home.
