The route was as follows: from Martos we headed out onto the main road towards Alcaudete, climbed the old road passing Venta Pantalones, reached Alcaudete, and took the direction to the Víboras reservoir, passing the El Portillo farmhouse and Villarbajo. We arrived at the dam, continued towards Las Casillas and Carrasca, circled Martos to head toward Monte Lope, and returned via the Santiago road – almost 90 km with climbs, descents, and great views. Some sections have excellent pavement, but others are quite badly deteriorated. Once off the main road, traffic is minimal along the route.
