Ocolul intim al Ciucasului imbina armonios celelalte 2 variante (Marele si Micul ocol), trece prin padurile frumoase si linistite din partea Vestica a masivului, predominant pe forestiere insa folosind si poteca turistica (intre Poiana Dalghiu si Saua Ciucas - cruce rosie). Din sa coboara spre Cheile Strambu de unde are traseu comun cu Micul Ocol al Ciucasului.
