Na začiatok trasy sa dostaneme najlepšie z Novej Dediny na prvej odbočke dolava ,ak prichádzame od Čajkova a ideme popri potoku najprv po panelovej ceste , potom polnou cestou , až cesta prechádza cez potok . Tu je začiatok trasy .Stúpame Soviou dolinou , až sa dostaneme na asfaltku . Asi kilometer pod chatou Žuhračka odbočíme z asfaltky vlavo , časom prejdeme cez asfalt a pokračujeme do najvyššieho bodu do sedla pod Rakovcom .
