Ciclosaptamana turistica in Persani - ziua #1

On the first day, we will depart from Codlea, not before visiting the 13th-century church – alternatively, arriving one day earlier and visiting the town center. We will go to see the ruins of the Black Fortress, then head towards the lakes near Codlea and join the E68 for a few kilometers until Vladeni, from where, next to a farm, I will climb a forest road to the Hamaradia cave. From there we will orient ourselves eastward, on forest roads to the well-marked one in the Crizbav valley. We will make one last ascent to the ruins of the Heroes' Fortress, from where we will descend to Rotbav to visit the 13th-century fortified church. We continue on the DN 2A or parallel country roads and reach Maierus (14th-century fortified church) to finish the first day at a guesthouse in Apata. With more detailed searching, the day can be shortened if accommodation is found in Rotbav or Maierus. There is also a water fortress at the exit of Apata.
