The newly built firebreak roads in the forests above the Slovak Gate provide a great opportunity to move through technically easy terrain, an excellent training route. We start in Tekovská Breznica, ascend via the Chválenská valley to the saddle under Rakovec, return to the Hron River via another valley, and then go up the valley opposite Hr. Beňadik again. We continue past the Rybník cottage to Rybník.
