About This Route

Was originally going to be to Petworth town centre, but was defeated by the hill between Fittleworth and Petworth, with a lack of water I had to turn round and go towards somewhere where I could top up.

It was a very enjoyable ride, magnificent veiws over the South Downs. Some long up hills, but there balanced out nicely with the down hills and flat parts of the route.

The only bad part of the route, is the A24 up towards Storrington, but if done at quiet times its not too bad.

Was the first 40 miler I did and managed it in 2 and a half hours, so quite pleased with that.
