Vom Bahnhof in Krumhermsdorf zum Marktplatz in Bad Schandau

From the station in Krumhermsdorf to the market square in Bad Schandau.

Coming by train from Bad Schandau or from Sebnitz/Neustadt, head towards Lohsdorf passing through forests, meadows, and fields. Just before Lohsdorf, you cross the former narrow-gauge railway route.

In Lohsdorf, take a break at the inn just before the old station, now a railway museum. Beyond Lohsdorf, follow the old route in the Scharzbachtal valley until you reach the Bad Schandau-Sebnitz-Neustadt railway line.

From here, it’s a steep climb towards Altendorf, where a restaurant with its own butcher shop invites you to dine on the terrace.

From Altendorf, cross a wide field towards Bad Schandau, where after descending some stairs you arrive at the market square.
