A really great circular route taking advantage of the newly opened railway route to Ripley and using quite back roads where possible. Some lovely scenery along the way including the famous Knaresborough viaduct & riverside stretches.
An alternative route out of Knaresborough is the Beryl Burton cyclepath (when resurfaced!) & Bilton Lane to join the railway track just after The Gardeners Arms in Bilton.
Refreshments at the Gardeners Arms in Bilton & the Boars Head in Ripley as well as many places in Knaresborough.
