In prima zi vom pleca din Sebesul de Jos pusi pe fapte: 70km, 2000m altitudine. La inceput o incalzire lunga si graduala, masa la cabana Nora sau Gatu Berbecului si apoi urcare spre Paltinis via forestier. Vom face jumatate din creasta Cindrel (Cibin) pentru a ajunge la cabana Canaia (renovata recent).
