The itinerary includes a 15 km loop starting from Collemese (700 meters), a small hamlet of the municipality of Fiastra.

The first part of the route is on a rather smooth asphalt climb for about 2.5 km.

After that, you leave the asphalted road to take the forest road that leads to the summit of Monte Fiegni, gaining 520 meters of positive elevation in just over 4 km.

Upon reaching the top of Monte Fiegni, a vast green plateau awaits us with a striking backdrop characterized by the ridges of the Sibillini Mountains, where one can enjoy a satisfying break for refreshment.

We continue by cutting across a grassy trail until we reach a enclosure with a gap where we must turn left. After a few more meters uphill, the descent finally begins (always keep to the left) along the forest road leading to the Church of S. Maria Maddalena (1111 meters).

After passing the church and keeping to the left, we prepare to descend at a high speed for about 5 km along the forest road (beware of the deep ruts created by water) that brings us back to the starting point.
