Anspruchsvolle Rügenroute FH-Stralsund-Ostseebad Binz

The route runs over some field and farm tracks. If there has been quite a bit of rain in the days before and the sun is not shining, I would not recommend this route.

If the weather has been nice for days, which is quite common in spring or summer, you cross a beautiful landscape and Rügen shows very different faces.

• many opportunities to take a break and here and there food options (for example in Garz (Rügen), the 'Kiek in' is recommended, you pass right by it)

• the ride along the coast to Putbus
• Baltic Sea resort Binz (highly recommend the Italian ice cream right in the boulevard in front of the pier)
• Colossus of Prora
• Beach of Prora with soft sand and beautiful water, literally invites you to swim

Directly at the destination point (see map) is the large train station of Binz with a direct train connection to Stralsund.

It is advisable to carry a cycling map or similar, as the route description is very sparse in some places.
