Oschersleben - Bad Pyrmont

I spent a few nice days there, and on Saturday I headed back, but not via the Harz. I left the Harz to my left and went towards Wolfenbüttel, Salzgitter, Bockenem, and then Stadtoldendorf. Somehow, the Brocken didn’t want to leave my side, and I thought I was riding in circles, as I kept seeing it the whole time, but after a while, it disappeared too. The last climb I had to overcome was at Lauenstein over the Ith, but I managed that too. Just before Börry, the bad weather finally caught up with me. I crossed the Weser by ferry at Grohnde and then went through rain to Pyrmont. I had headwind the entire way back, which was rather suboptimal since it stole my time; it took me about 2 hours longer than planned.
