Braunschweig (DLR) - Magdeburg(Zentrum)

From DLR in Braunschweig to Magdeburg. We wanted to reach our destination and once ride home by bike. We rode off the heavily trafficked roads (so specifically not along the B1) and wanted to glide through a beautiful landscape, also accepting a few extra kilometers. We set off on Friday at 2 PM and took a bit more than 4 hours and 30 minutes for the whole distance, plus two planned breaks, a water purchase at the supermarket, and some traffic lights, bringing us to a total of 5 hours and 30 minutes of travel time.

We started from DLR heading south towards Lucklum. From there, we then went into the Elm. The roads were good, hardly any cars.

In Schöningen, we actually wanted to take a slightly northern route, through the mining area, but the road had since been excavated. So we passed south of it. However, since we weren't exactly sure where to go and had no map, we initially drove towards Offleben only to realize that we could have gone directly to Barnberg.
