Padurea Surlari se afla la o distanta de aproximativ 30 km de Bucuresti, la marginea localitatii Moara Vlasiei. Este o zona mai putin cunoscuta de comunitatea ciclistilor. Nu este o padure foarte intinsa, dar se remarca prin peisajele fascinante de pe malurile lacului ce o margineste pe toata lungimea sa. Traseul concursului are 16 km si este cu siguranta unul pitoresc si atractiv, fiind realizat cu precadere pe malul lacului, ceea ce ofera o priveliste minunata. E un traseu destul de usor, realizat in mare parte pe drumuri forestiere late, care nu traverseaza zone tehnice sau cu prea mult noroi.
