Ritt Quer durch die Haßberge III

Along land consolidation paths from Forellenhof to Eichelsdorf. Then along the country road to Rottenstein. Upon entering the forest, keep left and head towards Nassach on the heights of the Haßberge. At the top, you cross the 'Rennweg' and descend gently on the other side of the Haßberge (with small climbs) towards 'Hausee'. On the path leading to Hausee, you actually go in the opposite direction up to the '7 Ways'. Afterwards, continue climbing about 100 meters to the observation tower 'Schwedenschanze' (always worth a visit in good weather—you can see as far as Kreuzberg in the Rhön!). You leave the observation tower on a gently descending singletrail and after some time cross the Eichelsdorf-Stöckach country road. On the other side, a gravel forest path begins and after about 1 km it changes into a not-so-easy-to-ride path (partly singletrail). At the end, you reach a parking lot near the village of Manau. From there, return along the country road back to Forellenhof.
