About this route
Die Strecke geht in Stuttgart auf dem Schlossplatz los und über Kaltental steil hoch nach Sonneberg. Dann über Degerloch, Riedenberg und Ostfildern nach Esslingen hinunter. Nun durch die Innenstadt von Esslingen über ein Seitental hoch zum Jägerhaus, wo eine Einkehr gut tut und sich streckenmässig auch anbietet.
Dann geht es schnell über Winterbach ins Remstal hinab. Dort kann man für eine letzte Pause auf der Schwaneninsel in den Biergarten einkehren.
Nun über das Schmiedener Feld und Bad Cannstatt zurück nach Stuttgart.
Die Strecke ist gut für Trekking und Mountainbikes geeignet. Rennradfahrer haben hier weniger Freude, obwohl ein Bekannter mit dem Rennrad mitfuhr.
