Route: Selent - Möltorp - Grabensee - Fargau - Pratjau - Pülsen - Dransau - Giekau - Ölböhm - Fresendorf - Klamp - Rönfeldholz - Wentorf - Dorf Rantzau - Bellin - Lammershagen - Selent   Highlights / Tips along the route: St. Servatius Church Selent, swimming area Möltorp, Pottery Plöger and swimming area in Grabensee, restaurant 'Giekauer Kroog', St. John's Church Giekau, Gut Neuhaus, country café Engelau, detour to restaurant Seekrug, detour to distillery Gottesgabe or to the cheese dairy 'Hof Berg' Dannau, fishing Reese Bellin, Gut Lammershagen, Blomenburg Selent Detailed route description: Starting point: Parking lot village center Selent (ALDI parking lot) Visit to St. Servatius Church in Selent immediately next to the parking lot, from there follow the village street left towards Kiel until the turn-off to the right to the bathing area at Steenkamp street, turn right again into the cul-de-sac, follow the path to the bathing area. Cozy picnic opportunity at the bathing area, small kiosk. Leave the bathing area via the parking lot, at the next fork turn right, continue until the road, turn right towards Grabensee (Attention, unfortunately there is no bike path next to the road from Grabensee to Giekau.), small stop at the Pottery Plöger or break at the small idyllic bathing area opposite, continue along the road to Fargau, small idyllic picnic spots directly by the lake, continue along the road to Pratjau, at the T-intersection turn right towards Pülsen, small detour to the bathing area at the lake possible, otherwise go straight through Pülsen towards Dransau, in Dransau turn right towards Giekau/Lütjenburg, in Giekau second opportunity to turn right into 'Höben' street (before it is worth a small detour: about 500 m further into the village: stopping opportunity at the country inn 'Giekauer Kroog' on the right or visit opportunity at St. John's Church on the left), follow the unpaved road 'Höben', keep left at Gut Neuhaus, cross the L259 road and continue straight to Ölbohm (tumulus on the right side), at the fork turn right into the unpaved road, at the T-intersection turn right towards Fresendorf, in Fresendorf turn left (on the right side there is another Bronze Age tumulus), cross the B202, pass by Gut Klamp, through Rönnfeldholz, in Wentorf turn right into 'Vörstenmoor' street, at road K29 turn left towards Engelau (worth taking a small detour to the distillery Gottesgabe, Schleswig-Holstein's first fruit distillery opposite the junction), in Engelau stopping opportunity at the country café Engelau (or from here 1.6 km detour to cheese dairy 'Hof Berg' in Dannau possible), opposite the entrance to the country café Engelau turn right and follow the signposted cycling path towards Rantzau, in the village of Rantzau follow the Eickenweg to the end (bus turnaround), turn left into 'Zum Blocksberg' street, immediately turn right into 'Am Bahndamm' street, follow the unpaved path for about 3 km, at the Friedeburg fork keep right towards Bellin, at the next intersection turn left towards Bellin, just after entering Bellin turn left into 'Belliner Weg', after about 1.6 km a dirt road with the signage 'Im Dorf' branches off to the right, follow this to the entrance of the village of Selent, keep right towards the village of Selent (shortly after the fire station there is worth taking a small detour to the romantic hunting lodge Blomenburg, which is unfortunately currently not in operation), return on Plöner Straße to the intersection and turn left onto the village road back to the starting point.
