Segeberger Runde für Rad und Rolle

The Segeberger loop leads broadly around the town of Kalkberg. Depending on the weather, it can be tackled either by bike or on skates. It's clear: on skates only for experienced riders! The route is practically only on the road. No bike paths where one can move according to the usual approaches for safety in road traffic! The terrain profile is demanding considering the total distance. The asphalt is (September 2008) problematic between Negernbötel and Hamdorf. Here we currently have very rough (renovated) asphalt on a slope. There may also be gravel, which complicates the grip for skaters.
