About this route
Challenging route with 2 long climbs that cost stamina. Through the Altlayer Valley, the route goes over 10km through partly idyllic forest areas with little traffic. Through the inner area of Hahn Airport (sometimes poor asphalt), it goes over Büchenbeuren to Hochscheid. From Longkamp to Bernkastel, a very nice descent with some hairpin turns awaits. On the other side of the Moselle, it goes to Schalkenmehrener Maar. A large part of the route runs along the beautiful bike path. The circle to the Moselle is closed via Cochem, passing by the highest vineyard in Europe.
