BCB ENCUENTROS 2005 Etapa 6 Frias Medina de Pomar

STAGE 6 OF THE MEETINGS OF CYCLISTS AND URBAN CYCLISTS ORGANIZED BY BURGOS CON BICI IN JULY 2005. (Update August 2013) On this stage we go from Frías to the canyon of Horadada through Cillaperlata and we accompany the Ebro river through the Tobalina valley to the Hocinos gorge. Finally, along quiet roads, we arrive at Medina de Pomar. Cyclist: take special care on the section from Valdenoceda to Incinillas (this is a national road without a shoulder). Departure: Frías. Stage end: Medina de Pomar. Overnight: Camping in school facilities. Points of interest: Ebro river, caves of the Portuguese, towns of the Valdivielso valley, Romanesque hermitage of San Pedro de Tejada, Sierra de la Tesla, gorges of Horadada and Hocinos, Medina de Pomar. On the route there are shops to buy in Trespaderne and Medina de Pomar.
