After Röthard, DO NOT turn towards Fürsitz but go straight ahead, and under the power pylons turn right. Left curve in the following piece of forest: keep to the right. Then to the Bucher reservoir, and along the Jagst take the flowy bike path to Ellwangen. Behind Ellwangen, there is again a fast section with few cars and good asphalt. I stuffed my belly with cherries. After that, I was thirsty and had a water belly, somehow the liquid didn’t pass through as well anymore.

At the paper mill, there is a remarkably steep but short incline, subsequent analysis of the geographic data revealed a disappointing 16%. It could also be due to the scorching heat, but I'm sure Lauterburg can’t compete with that. After that, it goes quickly onwards to Abtsgmünd, and continues along the Kochertal bike path.
