RUTA 3: Ascensió al Coll i Pla de Cabanes i Bucle Campelles

We set off from Ribes on a gentle constant ascent towards Bruguera. Once we arrive in Bruguera, the road steepens quite a bit, but it is well worth the climb to the plain of Cabanes where, from the pass, we can enjoy magnificent views of the Camprodon valley. It’s an ascent that is long from Ribes and toughens in the final stretches, but it doesn’t have any major ramps. We return by the same route back to Ribes and look for the junction that will also take us on a constant ascent, making a loop through the woods and over the Freser valley, to the village of Campelles. Once here, all that remains is to let ourselves go down to Ribes.
