    Stile. Possible to lift bikes over but in poor repair - take care

  2. Point of interest after 1.6 km

    Although a bike route, Hillingdon Council has erected a huge steel cage thing that means we need to up-end bikes to get them through.

  3. Point of interest after 4.8 km

    This roundabout is a pig. After watching the traffic flow, this is the easiest way around it but that's relative.

    Pelican crossing here - if busy cross and cycle down pavement. Otherwise there is a cycle lane, but it may be covered in parked cars.

    If we decide to use North side for any reason (like we did in 2011) the access to the canal is down steps - not good. However, if we go up Rowdell Road there's level access across bridge before Mosque - but down "lock steps". Easy enough to wheel.

    Do not use this lower path - might look nicer but a dead end!

    We really need to get off and push here - crowded pavement and one-way street
