Giurgiu - Ruse - Shtarklevo - Rusenski Lom canyon - Ivanovo - Krasen - Lom canyon - Ruse - Giurgiu

Combination between paved road for fast access to the mtb area. Entering in the Rusenski Lom canyon is indicated from the main road after Shtraklevo. The canyon trail is quite vague in some places and can be mudy if it rained the days before. There is no water sources before the first river crossing by the Ivanovo carved in stone churches. To not lose the river crossing, observe the windows carved in the stones on the left side of the trail and some hand rails hanged on top of the clif. After river crossing there is a water pump. The handle was broken but we managed to extract some water.

From there to Krasen is aslphalt road. From Krasen to Ruse only canyon and small roads, very light climbs, nice landscapes. Near Basarbovo try to find a cave that exhaust very fresh air. There is no sign on the trail but you can feel the cold air descending from the forest while biking. Enjoy.
