Starting from the vineyard roundabout, we climb up the Szálka hill. At the chapel, we turn left onto a path that is initially concrete, then dirt, which takes us up to the saddle. Following this road and the green hiking sign, we reach, after 3 km, the access road to Alsónána. Here, we turn right, cross the village, and passing the reservoir, we reach the main road Bátaszék-Bonyhád. Again turning right, after passing through Kismórágy and Palatinca, crossing the railway tracks several times, we arrive at the Szálka intersection, where we turn right and continue along the lakeshore into the village. Rolling through the village, we also climb the Szálka hill from its gentler side. At the top, turning left, we again follow the green sign, but this time in the opposite direction. After about 1.6 km, we reach a concrete road with a dip, where we proceed straight and after a short stretch of 100 m, we turn left onto a dirt road leading back up to the saddle. After more than 1 km, we arrive again at a bend of a concrete road, where, keeping to the left, we reach the end of the concrete road after 500 m, reaching the highest point of the tour at 248 m. Continuing along the edge of the forest, after another 500 m, turning right, we descend into the forest. Soon we catch sight of the yellow hiking sign, which we follow to descend into the Tóth valley, where by turning right onto the concrete road, we roll back to our starting point. The total length of the tour is 35 km, with 7 km of dirt roads, the rest is concrete or asphalt. Recommended for mountain bikes or trekking bikes.
