Gear Up Girl SA 2013 40km Beach Ride

The 40km Beach Ride follows the new Greenway bike corridor through Bowden to Port Adelaide, using a mix of quiet roads and shared use paths. After stopping for free refreshments in the shadow of the Port Adelaide lighthouse, we cross over the Hart St bridge and wind our way through the back streets of West Lakes to Grange and then follow the beach south via Henley Beach to the mouth of the River Torrens at Henley Beach South.<br /> Riders then head east along the Linear Path (north side), which follows the meandering path of the River Torrens, all the way back to the finish.
