Ausflugstour Aisch

Forchheim, Pautzfeld, Trailsdorf, Hallerndorf, Willersdorf, Haid, Lauf, Aisch, Adelsdorf, Zeckern, Poppendorf, Heroldsbach, Hausen, Forchheim

Starting from Forchheim, the route initially follows the canal all the way to Pautzfeld. After Pautzfeld, cross the road and follow the old local connecting road to Schlammersdorf. Continue to Trailsdorf, then to Hallerndorf, heading towards Willersdorf and immediately on to Haid. Continue following the old connecting road to Lauf, and then on to Aisch.

At the large intersection in Aisch, turn towards Adelsdorf. After Aisch, turn right towards Wiesendorf. In Wiesendorf, follow the bike path to Zeckern. Shortly after Wiesendorf, pass under the B470. Then keep going straight until you reach Zeckern. In Zeckern, first turn left towards the B470, then at the exit of Zeckern, turn right towards Poppendorf.

Continue following the road through Poppendorf until reaching Heroldsbach. Up to Heroldsbach, there is partly a bike path.

In Heroldsbach, turn right somewhere to get to Thurn. The best option is probably along Schloßstraße, a fair bit after passing the church.

Anyway, you need to pass through Thurn, which almost seamlessly leads into Hausen.

In Hausen, there are many options again to make your way to the canal path. Once on the canal path, follow it back to Forchheim and from there return home.
