Hopsten-Malepartus-Tecklenburg-Hopsten

If you have a little time: A beautiful ride for Sunday! After a rather unspectacular approach from Hopsten through Recke to Westerkappeln, the more scenic and hilly part begins there, away from the main roads. From Sudenfeld over Hagen and Holperdorp, you accumulate elevation a bit faster. A (small) break is recommended on the descent to Lienen at 'Malepartus', KM 58 (in the hairpins to the left into the forest) - this ridge is a MUST for every (motor-)Biker - or a bit further after a nice stretch through Schollbruch and a 12% to the television tower in the middle of Tecklenburg at KM 83. From there it’s flat, mostly with a tailwind, back home.
