Rund um den Landkreis Gifhorn

The route mostly runs just around the Landkreis Gifhorn, except for two sections (the northwest district and a short section near Brome), resulting in a fairly challenging loop. It makes quite a wide arc around Wolfsburg to avoid riding through the city.

The route is asphalted except for very few and short sections; some of the asphalt (in the east) is quite bumpy... but manageable. Cobblestone sections within towns can usually be avoided by taking pedestrian paths.

For the most part, the route is on roads with little or no traffic.
