About This Route

While D33 west of the Carcassonne Aeroport had nice scenery, there was too much traffic for a good ride.  I do not recommend this route.

the last kilometer of our ride was along the Canal du Midi on a hard-packed dirt road.

It's possible to take the path along the Canal du Midi, but we understand that a fat tire bike is necessary.
