El Consejo - Colonia Tovar / Aragua

It is important to inform that the starting point of this route is located at the house of a friend of the arriving cyclists, who offers a vehicle storage service for a small fee as assistance, in a garage with a green gate where locals can provide us with the exact location. This route is known for its high difficulty level, as most of the road consists of challenging climbs, covering a distance of 25.5 km mostly uphill with few descents. It is a ride for which we must be well trained, during which we will see spectacular landscapes, also enjoying eating some fruits if we feel like it to continue our journey to Colonia Tovar, known as a very touristic and pleasant town where we can eat and enjoy taking photos and more. Then we will make our big return, during which we will enjoy long descents, where we must be cautious, as the road is long and our brakes have to endure about 25 km of tough terrain, so we recommend making stops to avoid any issues and to also enjoy the scenery.
