Another possible loop of the Süßen Lake circumnavigation extension leads from Amsdorf through the ROMONTA open-cast mine (asphalt road) via Stedten-Röblingen back to the Süßen Lake in Aseleben. The ride 'through the big hole' (crossing the open-cast mine) is particularly worth seeing. You pass through the lowest point of the Mansfeld region (62 m above sea level, i.e., 30 m below the water level of the Süßen Lake)
