Eine weitere mögliche Schleife der Süßen-See-Umrundungserweiterung führt ab Amsdorf durch den ROMONTA-Tagbau (Asphaltstraße) über Stedten-Röblingen wieder zum Süßen See in Aseleben.
Dabei ist besonders die Fahrt "durch das große Loch" (Durchquerung des Tagebaus) sehenswert. Dabei durchfährt man die tiefste Stelle des Mansfelder Landes (62 m ü. NN also 30 m unter dem Wasserspiegel des Süßen Sees)- -:--
