Hamilton bei Toronto Webster Falls

Unlike the well-known Niagara Falls, there are hundreds of waterfalls along the cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment. Today is Easter week, we took a day trip to Websters Falls, Tews Falls, and Ball Falls to take some pictures. The city of Hamilton, located less than 100 km west of Toronto, has a population of 505,000 and 125 waterfalls. Websters Falls is one of the largest in the region and is classified as a classic waterfall. The nearby Tews Falls is a ribbon fall. Both falls are in the Spencer Gorge/Websters Falls Conservation Area. Walking from the parking lot of the Websters Falls Conservation Area towards the falls, we came across a beautiful cobblestone bridge that crosses the Spencer Creek. Follow the steps below to get to the creek where you can get a closer look at Websters Falls and Baby Websters Falls. Websters Falls is 22 m high and 30 m wide. Walking back to the parking lot, we walked along the Bruce Trail about 1 km north to Tews Falls. Tews Falls is 41 m long and 9 m wide over Logie Creek, which is classified as 'Ribbon' Falls, where various rock layers in the embankment are clearly visible. We left this conservation area and continued south towards the Ball Falls.
