Bejuma - San Isidro - Calcetas

This route located in Bejuma, Carabobo State, features straight asphalt roads passing through various towns like Aguirre Pueblo, which belongs to the Municipality of Montalbán. Then we encounter asphalt uphill sections, followed by the ascent to Mount San Isidro, with some challenging climbs, although for most of the ride we will enjoy the scenery and plenty of pleasant shade. The route continues and ends with a climb that will truly test us: a very steep climb of about 150 meters, which we can either tackle or avoid via a well-marked path on the side. Afterwards, we will reach the famous antennas at the summit, where we can enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Valles Altos de Carabobo. This is followed by a dangerous descent due to its steepness and roads where we can pick up a lot of speed, so it's better to take it slow. Depending on the season and road conditions, there can be fast and technical descents, and before long we will be at the foot of the mountain, exiting at the very charming inn Las Calcetas.
