Subida al Naranco 2009

Route of the "Subida al Naranco 2009".

Departure from Lugones, passing through El Berron and Pola de Siero, the first Meta Volante takes place in Valdesoto.

The route ascends Gargantada, a 3rd Category climb, arriving at La Felguera.

We cross Ciaño, El Entrego, Sotrondio, and Barredos to reach the second Meta Volante in Pola de Laviana.

We continue until we reach Rioseco, where the battle is held in Inernaranco and continue to Tanes. Here we take the detour to Bueres to ascend the Alto de Orle, a 3rd Category climb.

We return to Campo de Caso to go back along the same road to Sama.

Once we arrive here, we take the detour towards Mieres, ascending the Alto de Santo Emiliano, a 2nd Category climb.

We continue towards Oviedo, climbing the Alto del Padrun and the Alto de la Manzaneda, both 2nd Category climbs.

We cross Oviedo to begin the Alto del Naranco, a 1st Category climb, where the race will finish.
