Stage 2

July 7 (Monday) Leaving Briviesca heading towards Oña via the CL 632. After 5 km, turn left towards Llano de Bureba on the BUV 5104. At Llano, continue on the road toward Poza de la Sal. No need to climb into the village; take the road toward Salas de la Bureba. At Salas, turn left and climb the valley of Las Caderechas; the valley is well known for its cherries and apples, and if we're lucky, we can try some straight from the tree. There are two options: 1) at Aguas Candidas, turn right and descend to Quintanaopio via Río Quintanilla. Lunch in Quintanaopio. 2) For those wanting more climbing; from Aguas Candidas, climb to Hozabejas, then Rucandio, then descend via La Salceda and Ojeda to meet the others in Quintanaopio. After lunch, descend toward Terminón, turn left toward Oña. Joining the national road N 232, turn left and you'll soon arrive at Oña.
