S/U Bundesplatz - Wannsee - Moorlake - Drewitz - Gröben - Thyrow - Genshagen - Heinersdorf - S/U Innsbrucker Platz

In Wannsee, there are a few nice hills, otherwise it's flat as a pancake (outside Berlin, they probably call them Pfannkuchen as well). In Potsdam, there is little traffic except on the street Am Kirchsteigfeld – where many drivers are also aggressive jerks, so better to take the not-too-bad bike path. On the country road towards Siethen, the bike path is very good anyway... In Gröben, you can take a good break – a pub with authentic GDR atmosphere serves real Rothaus on tap for €2.50 per half liter. In the evening heading into the city, traffic is relatively light there, but next to the B101, there is also a recommended bike path. Once you get away from there, it becomes very quiet. In Großbeeren, instead of the main street, you can take the new bike street, which is much quieter and also leads to the confusing road junction with the train station. West of the B101, there is a quiet road that leads to Heinersdorf. From there, take the bike path to Marienfelde and then the quiet Malteserstraße in the evening heading towards Schöneberg.
