From Walschleben via Elxleben to Friedrichsdorf (climb) - all bike paths or side roads in the section to Friedrichsdorf. A good 20.0 km and about 150 m elevation difference. In Friedrichsdorf via dirt roads to the main path of the eastern Fahner Heights and stop at the inn 'Zur Schönen Aussicht' with a truly beautiful view of the Brocken and Kyffhäuser in suitable weather. Return through Witterda and the developed dirt roads around Walschberg back to Walschleben. A trekking bike is recommended. There are many variations to slightly change the route. In wet weather, unpaved dirt roads around Friedrichsdorf should be avoided. The soils are very sticky and then impassable. One stays on the road for about 1 km.
