Radtour: 11 Siele - Jade - WHV - EJK - AUR

Day tour: Start at 4:30 AM, from Berumbur go directly to the Hilgenriedersiel dike, 60 km to Schillig, sometimes in front of the dike and sometimes behind it. From Hooksiel, then go down along the Jade (water side) to just before Wilhelmshaven. After passing through Wilhelmshaven, continue on the sea dike of Jadebusen to Mariensiel. From here we join the Ems-Jade Canal, which will accompany us for 40 km. Upon arriving at the Aurich harbor, we look for the way to Walle, where we then ride along the moor (Ewiges Meer) back to Berumbur, the finish. The tour is best done with an MTB or trekking bike. The route is 70% asphalt, 20% gravel, 10% sand. In the area of Elisabethgroden dike / Voslapp Jade Port there may be detours due to construction. The route can be completed in 10 to 12 hours depending on breaks and pace.
