Willich - Zoppenbroich - Liedberg - Büttgen - Willich

From Willich, you go along the cycle path completed in 2012 towards Mönchengladbach / Castle Myllendonk. From here, you follow the Niers towards Castle Rheydt.

At Castle Rheydt, you can eat well and cheaply at the Italian restaurant Purino. Further through MG-Zoppenbroich, a small detour over Taubenhütte, Leppershütte towards Liedberg-Steinhausen. Here, you can enjoy fine dining at the Stappen inn. With a beer garden! Or in Liedberg itself at the old brewery (Gaststätte Vennen), where there’s also a cozy beer garden in the courtyard. This part of Liedberg is particularly nice with its old half-timbered houses!

Over the quartz hill, you then descend to Schlich and through the fields to Büttgen. After a refreshment at the ice cream café La Rosa, you continue through Driesch and Vorst. Once again in the Vorster forest, you cross the northern canal and reach the Kaarster Baggerloch. Then you head back to Willich via the A52. Enjoy your ride.
